Our Mission

Free Gift Ministry, Inc. is a faith based outreach ministry. Our goal is to fulfill the mandate of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in his Word in Matthew 11:28-30 “come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. He also said go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature and to make disciples, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, visit those who are in prison and set the captives free. That mandate was for the church, not for the government.

America is in an economic crisis. Over 10.5 million Americans are out of work and the numbers are climbing. Job hours are cut to less than half. Americans have labored and now they are heavy laden. They need a resting place. That place is Christ Jesus.

Free Gift Ministry, Inc. will be going out knocking on doors to preach the gospel, to pray with our neighbors, to take them food and groceries, pay the utility bills they are unable to pay and pay their rent/mortgages. We are doing these things for our neighbors that we may reach their spiritual needs as well as their basic mortal needs. We are also offering tutorial programs to both adults and children who need it that they can better provide for themselves. We will also be offering activities for young children and youth, for example, drama groups, praise dancing, music lessons, soccer, etc. all free of charge and we will be doing this with the help of volunteers.

We are currently based in Houston, Texas and this is where we have started. We intend to expand to the other 50 states. We are currently feeding over 200 families per month. We would like to service more people and extend our help beyond food as mentioned

We are a few caring individuals who use our own income to provide assistance to over 200 families in Houston per month this last year. We preach the gospel and 833 people gave their hearts to Christ. Eyes were healed when we prayed for people. Backs were healed, stroke victims symptoms were reversed, a man with a swollen face and a bad toothache, when prayed for, the swelling reduced instantly and the toothache went away. Three months later that toothache never returned. These people are out of work and had no insurance. One man had a piece of steel in his eye for 20 days we took him to the hospital emergency room, paid the deposit and charity picked up the balance of the bill. The doctors said he would have lost his eye had we not brought him in. He also did not go to the emergency room because he was out of work and had no insurance. There is a great need out there. We may not be able to handle them all, but with the help of donations, we will be able to help more people.

An old man once said, he was standing on the beach picking up starfishes and throwing them back into the ocean. Another man walked up and said “what are you doing?” He said, I am throwing the starfishes back into the ocean so that the birds won’t eat them. He said, but look how many starfishes are out here, hundreds, you are wasting your time, what does it matter. The old man bent down and picked up another star fish, he tossed it into the ocean and he looked at his neighbor and he said, it matters to this one. So it matters to my colleagues and I each one we can reach.
